Yes he did! Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg told the world yesterday that the iPad will not receive a native app for Facebook, this he says is because the iPad isn't mobile.
He added that at the moment, there are two ways to access Facebook from your iPad: www.facebook.com and touch.facebook.com, its touch-friendly website for, well, smartphones.
Zuckerberg later on took the microphone back. "I didn't mean to be rude towards Apple," he said. "We all love Apple products here, and we want to work with them and all that. I just want to keep the event focused on what we're doing today. The iPad is not a mobile platform in the same way a phone is."
As tablets take over the netbook market, this could be a huge new platform to develop apps for, not only for iOS, but also for Android and other tablet software.
I hope he will soon regret what he said and will acknowledge that an iPad app is imminent for the future.
